Column Chart Types in Power BI

Column charts are vertical versions of bar charts. Instead of horizontal bars, they use vertical columns to represent data values.

Here’s a visual comparison of column chart types using product sales data (2019–2022):

1. Stacked Column Chart → Shows total sales per year, with each product stacked on top of the others.
2. 100% Stacked Column Chart → Each column adds up to 100%, showing the percentage share of each product.
3. Clustered Column Chart → Places product columns side by side for each year, making it easy to compare values directly.
